Here at mycrappypicture.com, we’re all about Crappy Pictures.  The idea is that you will submit a Photo electronically and receive a Crappy Picture version of the Photo in return.  Here are some guidelines:

1)     You must either own the Photo, or have written permission to use it from the person or organization who owns it.  This is due to copyright law and is your responsibility completely.

2)     You agree that you must have permission from everyone in the Photo to submit this Photo to mycrappypicture.com and have a Crappy Picture drawn of their likeness.  In the case of children under the age of 18 appearing in the Photo, you must have permission from their parents.

3)     By submitting a Photo, you personally agree that these two conditions have been satisfied and that you have the appropriate rights, permissions, and consent to submit the Photo, and you agree that you are solely responsible for any copyright infringement and/or all other legal issues that may arise from the submission and/or future use/electronic distribution/publication of the Photo and the Crappy Picture.  You and the subjects in the photo hold mycrappypicture.com and its parent companies, subsidiaries, employees, and affiliates completely free of any liability.

4)     You must be at least 13 years of age.  Mycrappypicture.com services and products are directed to those 13 or older, in compliance with the COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13.  If you are under 18, you must have your parent’s permission.

5)     Turnaround time:  Every effort is made to draw your Crappy Picture as soon as possible.  Usually this is within 24 hours, but no more than 3 business days (it just depends on how much Crap we’re dealing with at the time).

6)     Delivery:  After it is drawn, a photo is taken of your Photo and your Crappy Picture next to each other, so you can really appreciate the Crappy Picture representation of your Photo.   This will be emailed to you.  In addition, you have the “deliver by mail” option on the order page, which is best if you plan to frame your Crappy Picture and/or want to cherish the Crap forever.

7)     Quality:  Your Photo will be drawn in the Crappy Picture traditional method.  You’re purchasing the artist’s Crappy interpretation of your Photo.  A Photo with many people in it will get about the same Crappy time dedicated to it as a Photo with 1-2 people in it, so you may get less detail if there are a lot more subjects in your Photo.  Don’t’ worry, it will still be Crappy!  If you are not happy with your Crappy Picture, please accept our Crappiest apologies.  Sorry, no re-do’s, refunds, or returns.

8)     Subject Matter:  Yes, everything can be drawn as a Crappy Picture.  Just keep your expectations Crappy!  Although the Crappy Picture tradition was born of a classy portrait approach, we draw Crap of all kinds.  You can get a Crappy Picture of yourself, your pets, your house/cars/whatever you want to look Crappy.  Please, keep it “family-friendly.”

9)     Email:  Customers are added to our Crappy email updates.  We may send a fun Crappy message out once in a while, not more than once a month, to update you on Crappy Picture news.  We hate spam and will not spam you or share your email address.  If you would prefer not to get Crappy email, just hit unsubscribe the first time you get a message, no problem.  We will tearfully miss you and think of your Crappy self often, and welcome you back anytime!

10)  Publication:  We may publish your submitted Photo and your Crappy Picture on mycrappypicture.com and elsewhere, possibly along with first names (only) of subjects in the Crappy Picture and a brief description/comments.  If you prefer that we NOT use your Photo/Crappy Picture, just let us know via email and your photo will be removed within 3 business days.

11)  Use:  Enjoy your Crappy Picture as much as you want!  We highly encourage you to use it for social media, your Christmas card, or whatever makes you happy for “personal use.”  We do retain copyright ownership of all Crappy Picture drawings.  Any “for-profit” use is prohibited without written permission from mycrappypicture.com.  We hope you get much enjoyment out of your Crap, and always appreciate a credit/reference to mycrappypicture.com anytime you post it or use it, to help spread the word about mycrappypicture.com!

12)  By using the website mycrappypicture.com, submitting your Photo, requesting a Crappy Picture, or ordering any products/services, you consent to and agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for the site.  You warrant that yourself and all subjects in any submitted Photos hold mycrappypicture.com and its parent companies, subsidiaries, employees, and affiliates completely free of any liability whatsoever.

We collect personal information that you submit to us on the site, including your contact info, mailing address, submitted Photo, email address, credit card info, and other info needed to process your order and best serve you.
We will not share your personal information without your permission, other than as necessary for the express purpose of completing your order. This may include our trusted third-party business partners (ie, PayPal, website company, etc.) who assist us in various business operations as long as they also agree to keep information confidential. We may also release your information in situations where we believe it is appropriate in order to comply with the law, protect the safety, rights, or property of others, or to enforce our website policies. Non-personally identifiable info may be provided to other parties for various uses including marketing and advertising.
We may publish your submitted Photo and your Crappy Picture on mycrappypicture.com and elsewhere, possibly along with first names (only) of subjects in the Crappy Picture (when available) and a brief description/comments. If you prefer that we NOT use your Photo/Crappy Picture, just let us know.
We may use the information you submit to complete the Crappy Picture you have requested, to send the products you order to you, to improve our service to you, and to periodically update you. If you would rather not receive email from us with Crappy updates, simply unsubscribe after receiving your first message from us. We will tearfully miss you and welcome you back anytime!
